WhatsApp plans to roll out an experimental new feature that allows you to undelete a message

On WhatsApp, deleting a message by mistake is unfortunately irreversible. There is no way to go back, at least, for the time being. As revealed by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp intends to roll out an experimental new feature that allows you to undelete a message.

In fact, as reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has just published the new beta version of its Android app. This version 2.22.18.13 introduces an interesting feature.

The principle is simple: a button will appear after deleting a message to cancel the deletion. As can be seen from the screenshot shared by the media, the UNDO icon is displayed in the lower right corner of the interface.

During the few moments after deleting the message, it will therefore be possible to press this button to undelete the message.

As usual with these features rolling out through beta versions of WhatsApp, the general public will have to be patient before they can take advantage of them. However, we can count on deployment by the end of 2022.

It is noteworthy that, a new version of WhatsApp has appeared on Windows and will soon arrive on macOS. The main novelty is that this application supports accounts directly on your computer. No need to use your smartphone to maintain account connection and receive/send messages to your contacts. Great news for WhatsApp desktop users.
